Company Overview
A chemical tradin g company is looking for a Sales Staff(m/f/d) for the department Biofine / Petrochemical in Düsseldorf .

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive international sales and marketing of various commodity and industrial petrochemical products across multiple industries.
  • Act as the primary contact for global existing customers while actively contributing to the acquisition of new clients and market expansion.
  • Strengthen relationships with key accounts through strategic customer engagement within assigned territories. Create and deliver presentations and proposals, and lead negotiations with customers.
  • Oversee logistics and inventory to ensure adequate product availability for sales.
  • Manage customer credit lines and support the back office in payment collection when needed.
  • Gather and share critical customer insights—such as sales forecasts, material requirements, market trends, and competitor activities—to enhance team strategy and synergy.
  • Develop new business opportunities in the field of circular economy, focusing on plastics including biomass, recycled, and biodegradable materials.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and gain a solid understanding of the technical aspects of new products.
  • Engage with both existing and potential customers to identify their challenges and deliver tailored solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in the field of Economics/Business Administration or a commercial apprenticeship.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience.
  • High commitment for the achievement to develop the business.
  • Business level in German and English
  • Japanese language skills or having sense of Japanese culture is an advantage.
