Engineering Leader for Motorcycle Powertrain System (m/f/d)
This role bridges European OEMs and Japan-based teams to ensure seamless project coordination and technical alignment in the development of motorcycle ECUs. It combines project management and engineering support. You will work from our EU Headquarters, located near Munich airport, in Schwaig.
Your Core Responsibilities Include
Project Management

  • Coordinating and monitoring between European customer and Japan-based Sales and Engineering teams for ECU (Electronic Control Unit)
  • Setting the milestones of the projects
  • Being a support for the Sales team during the negotiation

Engineering Support

  • Pre-analyzing OEM's requirements on ECU HW/SW and
  • Being a contact person for the OEM for Engineering topics
  • Performing EMS calibration tests and facilitating joint activities with OEM
  • Providing prototype software for items which require rapid try and error loops at early development phase

Profile And Qualifications

  • Degree in Automotive/Motorcycle Engineering, or similar is an asset
  • Ideally 10 years of experience in Engineering or Project Management
  • Experience in automotive/motorcycle industry in a Japanese company is an asset
  • Fluent in English, Japanese language is appreciated, any other language is an asset
  • Category A driver's license (motorcycles)
  • Software : MATLAB Simulink
  • Programming language : C
