The Team

At JobLeads, we turn job market data into strategic insight. You'll be part of our Business Intelligence (BI) team, the data engine behind our platform, and work in close daily collaboration with our Content & Insights team. Together, we transform millions of job postings and company profiles into compelling reports, media features, and thought-leadership pieces that shape conversations about careers and hiring.

This is a hybrid role - rooted in analytics, but deeply connected to storytelling. You'll work alongside SEO specialists, content creators, designers, and PR partners to help JobLeads gain visibility and authority through clear, credible, data-driven narratives.

Your Role

We're looking for a Content & Insights Analyst who doesn't just work with data - but understands how to turn it into meaningful stories. You'll be the analytical force behind our public-facing content, bringing curiosity, structure, and clarity to job market trends.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, content, and communication - with strong technical skills, a sharp editorial instinct, and the ability to distill complex insights into accessible, impactful stories.


What You'll Be Doing

Query, clean, and aggregate job, customer, and company data from our SQL Server environment.

Analyze hiring, salary, and skills trends to identify and extract story-worthy insights.

Build reproducible datasets and visuals using Power BI and Python for content, media, and SEO use.

Work in fast-paced editorial cycles to support timely content campaigns and recurring reporting.

Collaborate with content leads, writers, and designers to co-develop story angles and compelling visual narratives.

Validate data accuracy, transparency, and consistency to ensure public trust in our insights.

Document and structure datasets to boost AI and SEO discoverability.

Share best practices and elevate internal BI storytelling through improved data presentation.


What You'll Need

4+ years of experience in analytics, research, data journalism, or a related field.

Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets.

Proficiency in Power BI.

Proficiency in Python for data transformation and visualization.

Demonstrated ability to find and frame insights that answer the "why" behind the numbers.

Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to operate with agility in editorial-like environments and meet recurring content deadlines.

Passion for topics like hiring behavior, labor trends, and the future of work.


Nice If You Have

Background in economics, journalism, social sciences, or data storytelling.

Experience creating or contributing to media-facing datasets, dashboards, or reports.

Familiarity with shaping insights for SEO, PR, or thought-leadership purposes.

Interest in building reusable data assets to streamline recurring content production.
