Multidisciplinary Compliance Expert

SECJUR is a rapidly growing legal tech company that has been changing the compliance market significantly since its founding in 2018. Our self-developed and AI-powered SaaS automation platform, the Digital Compliance Office, supports companies of all sizes with regulatory challenges such as information security and data protection. We are looking for a full-time, permanent Multidisciplinary Compliance Expert (all genders) to join us as soon as possible. Ideally, you are based in Hamburg, but remote work is also possible (Germany-based residency required).

Your creative field

In this role, you support our customers as an expert in at least two of the following compliance domains:

• Data Protection / Privacy (GDPR, BDSG, TDDDG)
• Information Security (ISO 27001, TISAX, SOC2)
• Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)
• Emerging digital regulations:
  • NIS2 (cybersecurity & governance)
  • DORA (operational resilience)
  • EU AI Act (AI governance & documentation)

You will guide customers in implementing, operating and improving their compliance frameworks and help shape our Digital Compliance Office (DCO) with your expertise.

Your responsibilities: depending on your background, you will work in two or more of the following areas:
1. Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR)

• Advising customers on GDPR-compliant governance structures (RoPA, TOMs, DPIAs, DSMS)
• Supporting privacy audits, assessments and readiness checks

2. Information Security (ISO 27001 / TISAX / SOC2)

• Supporting customers in building and operating ISMS
• Guiding ISO 27001/TISAX readiness, remediation and audits
• Conducting gap analyses and maturity assessments

3. Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)

• Supporting implementation, documentation and continuous improvement of QMS
• Advising customers on audits and conformity requirements

4. Emerging Regulations (NIS2, DORA, AI Act)

• Advising customers on governance, risk management and documentation obligations
• Supporting the setup of processes required for regulatory readiness
• Helping design AI governance frameworks aligned with the EU AI Act

5. Platform & Product Contribution

• Helping customers use the DCO to implement compliance measures efficiently
• Contributing expert content, templates, workflows and automations
• Collaborating with Customer Success & Product to improve customer experience

Optional

• Acting as an external Data Protection Officer, Information Security Officer or Quality Representative for selected customers

Your profile

• Degree in law, IT, business, engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Several years of experience in at least two of the following:
  • GDPR / privacy consulting
  • Information security (ISO 27001 / TISAX / SOC2)
  • Quality management (ISO 9001)
  • Emerging compliance regulations (NIS2, DORA, AI Act)
• Experience implementing or developing management systems (ISMS, DSMS, QMS)
• Strong client-facing experience in consulting, SaaS or audit roles
• Certifications (ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, ISO 9001 auditor, DPO etc.) are a plus
• Excellent German (C1+) and good English
• High IT affinity and ideally experience with Confluence/Jira
• Structured, independent working style with entrepreneurial thinking
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
