Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Reinsurance Accountant Life Insurance Business.

You can look forward to

• Checking and posting reinsurance statements of account from the life insurance business
• Processing and creation of claims reports including technical sanction checks
• Current account processing of incoming and outgoing payments
• Participation in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
• Correspondence and coordination with internal and external customers

You come equipped with

• Completed commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting or tax - alternatively, you have further training as a business administrator with a corresponding specialisation or a business degree
• Experience in the life insurance sector of an insurance and/or reinsurance company, also as part of an internship
• Knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting guidelines
• Knowledge of English and German at a conversational level, knowledge of Italian an advantage
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of SAP
• Very good understanding of numbers as well as analytical and conceptual skills
• Structured way of working with a strong sense of organisation and planning as well as analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams
