Value Engineering Manager
vor 3 Stunden
You take end-to-end ownership of multiple customer projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring that IQA delivers measurable, scalable value in day-to-day production.
ABOUT ONIQ
ONIQ is on a mission to transform manufacturing for a more sustainable and efficient future. With the IQA Lean Copilot, we are pioneering a new category in industrial tech - combining lean production principles with AI, process mining, and advanced data analytics. Our software empowers manufacturers to systematically identify inefficiencies, accelerate improvements, and scale operational excellence across their global production networks.
We are a highly motivated team with a strong sense of ownership and passion for what we do. Our entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to innovation have enabled us to grow fast and shape the future of digital lean and green manufacturing. At ONIQ, culture is just as important as product. We foster an environment rooted in authenticity, diversity, integrity, and mutual respect - where everyone is encouraged to bring their whole self to work.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will independently manage multiple customer projects and take ownership of converting customers from pilot engagements into long-term SaaS partnerships. Your focus will be on maximizing and clearly demonstrating the value IQA creates for our customers. As a Value Engineering Manager, you will ensure the successful implementation of IQA and demonstrate its long-term impact by highlighting its strategic importance and embedding it into day-to-day operations – helping our customers build future-proof, lean and sustainable manufacturing operations.
In this role, you will:
- Take end-to-end ownership of several customer projects at once, coordinating cross-functional teams, staying close to key stakeholders and ensuring that project objectives are met, enabling customers to continuously use IQA
- Own the customer relationship throughout the entire journey with IQA - from first touchpoints through the pilot phase to roll-out and live operation - actively improving production processes and delivering measurable impact
- Draw on your in-depth expertise in production processes and lean manufacturing, combined with a clear understanding of the customer's pain points to identify how IQA can become a major value driver for the customer
- Contribute to ONIQ's product strategy by actively gathering customer feedback and requirements ensuring our solution remains responsive to customer needs and market trends
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- Strong relationship-building skills, outgoing and communicative personality
- Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm to drive the transformation to sustainable manufacturing with our software IQA
- Ability to understand the most pressing customer issues in production and to present our matching solutions
- Strong customer focus to achieve the best results both for the customer and ONIQ
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field
- Profound experience working in consulting, production management, lean manufacturing, operational excellence, or similar
- International experience and a strong awareness of regional business practices, combined with the ability to tailor communication strategies accordingly
- Excellent language skills (English and German C1 or higher)
- Willingness to travel internationally for customer meetings or industry events (typically 2-4 meetings per month)
- We love the energy that comes from working together in person, so spending time at our Cologne or Berlin office matters to us. One on-site day per week is the minimum, and more time together is always welcome whenever it works for you
WHAT WE OFFER
- A culture built on transparency, integrity and authenticity – we trust and respect each other and make decisions based on competence
- A fast-paced, agile environment where you can take on as much responsibility as you feel ready for and actively shape our marketing and go-to-market
- A team that genuinely cares about collaboration and work culture: we regularly reflect on our teamwork, invest work time into team spirit and consciously create balance in everyday work
- The opportunity to contribute to fighting climate change by helping industrial manufacturers to become more efficient and to reduce their CO₂ emissions, while we are mindful of our own environmental impact as a carbon-neutral company
- All the benefits that make work more pleasant: flexible hours, part-time options, remote work possibilities, regular team events and offsites, 30 days PTO, weekly yoga sessions, Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club and more
