Head of Unit (f/m/d) IT System Operations Clearing (part-/full-time)

Our section "IT Operations" is responsible for the management of the overall IT application and system landscape of EEX/ ECC and therefore manage, operate and improve critical applications within our company. As Head of-member (f/m/d) of the team "IT System Operations Clearing" you will extend and lead a team of IT Application Managers/ Administrators to evolve the EEX/ECC application landscape, drive forward technological change and work on transforming EEX/ECC IT into an agile product driven organization. Reliability, quality, and high availability are of extreme importance to us, so we're looking for a professional administrator and leader that takes a pragmatic and passionate approach to technology and solving problems.

Your Tasks

  • Takeover responsibility for critical applications within EEX/ECC
  • Lead a team responsible for application operation in a product organization
  • Support and develop team capabilities for all products
  • Coordination and operational steering of external service providers
  • Driving strategic technology decisions into the products
  • Establishing milestones and supporting the assignment of tasks and/or responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, regulations, procedures and best practices
  • Fluent communication in regards of presenting complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences when engaging with colleagues, users/ customers, suppliers and partners
  • As central contact person for the Application Managers: Sharing knowledge, experience and recommendations to the team and supporting team members' appropriate development opportunities

Your Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a job relevant discipline or similar educational background
  • Very good language skills in English and German
  • Experience in leading multicultural teams and transforming organizations in the area of IT Operations & Administration
  • Know-how and hands-on experience within the domain of IT Administration in a multi technology setup
  • Excellent communication and presenting skills on a management level
  • A mindset of an influencer who wants to shape the future of operational models within our IT
  • Ideally experience of working in a highly regulated environment
