Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Game Designer, located in Berlin. The Lead Game Designer will be responsible for crafting engaging game experiences through innovative design and implementation strategies. Core tasks include developing game mechanics, leading level design, collaborating with developers to ensure smooth game development, and adapting designs to both console and mobile platforms. The role requires excellent coordination with teams to bring compelling game ideas to life.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Game Design and a strong understanding of key game mechanics
  • Proficiency in Level Design with a focus on creating engaging player experiences
  • Knowledge of Game Development processes and tools
  • Understanding or experience working on Console and Mobile Games
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to guide cross-functional teams
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and the capacity to innovate game elements
  • Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in project management and familiarity with agile development practices is a plus
  • A passion for gaming and keeping up with industry trends
