Wir, die Gesellschaft für Datenschutz und Datensicherheit e.V. (GDD), suchen ab sofort – in Voll- oder Teilzeit – für unsere Geschäftsstelle in Bonn eine/n (Jr./Sr.) Legal Consultant (m/w/d) für den Bereich Datenschutz und Datensicherheit mit Schwerpunkt auf europäischer Verbandsarbeit innerhalb der CEDPO. Als gemeinnützige Organisation mit rund 4.000 Mitgliedern setzt sich die GDD für einen sinnvollen, vertretbaren und technisch realisierbaren Datenschutz ein. Unser Ziel ist es, Unternehmen und öffentliche Stellen bei der Umsetzung der rechtlichen, technischen und organisatorischen Anforderungen des Datenschutzes praxisnah zu unterstützen.

Ein Teil Ihrer Tätigkeit wird die
aktive Mitwirkung in der Confederation of European Data Protection Organisations (CEDPO)
sein, dem europäischen Dachverband, den die GDD als eines der Gründungsmitglieder selbst ins Leben gerufen hat.

CEDPO engagiert sich für einen ausgewogenen, praktikablen und europaweit harmonisierten Datenschutz. Dazu gehören insbesondere die Mitwirkung an europäischen Gesetzgebungsprozessen, die Erstellung von Positionspapieren, die Zusammenarbeit mit der Europäischen Kommission sowie die Teilnahme an Workshops des Europäischen Datenschutzausschusses (EDSA/EDPB).

Aufgabenbereiche

  • Repräsentation der GDD und CEDPO auf EU-Ebene sowie aktive Mitwirkung in europäischen Gremien und Arbeitsgruppen (z.B. EDSA),
  • Erstellung und Präsentation von Positionspapieren zu EU-Gesetzgebung und regulatorischen Entwicklungen,
  • Analyse und Aufbereitung datenschutzrechtlicher Entwicklungen in der EU/EWR,
  • Beratung internationaler Stakeholder sowie Unterstützung der GDD-Mitglieder,
  • Förderung der internationalen Zusammenarbeit und Best-Practice-Austausch,
  • Erstellung von Praxishilfen, Stellungnahmen und fachlichen Veröffentlichungen (z.B. in RDV/EuDIR),
  • Mitwirkung an internen Projekten, Arbeitskreisen und Veranstaltungen der GDD,
  • Unterstützung der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (u.a. Social Media).

Profil

  • Abgeschlossenes rechtswissenschaftliches Studium (bevorzugt 1. und 2. Staatsexamen bzw. Masterabschluss an einer Hochschule),
  • Kenntnisse im Bereich Datenschutzrecht,
  • Interesse an Informationstechnologie,
  • Fähigkeit, auch komplexe rechtliche Sachverhalte adressatengerecht zu erklären,
  • Hervorragende schriftliche Ausdrucksfähigkeit (Deutsch auf Niveau von Muttersprachler/-innen),
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse.
