Do you want to build an Internal Audit function from scratch?
We are partnered with a Global manufacturing company who are hiring for a Head of Internal Audit in Bad Neustadt an der Saale.
The objective of this role is to Establish and Lead the Internal Audit function, reporting to the CEO.
This is a "new build" of an Internal Audit function, as we look for someone who can implement new process to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Creation and implementation of Internal Audit function.
- Executing Audits in line with the Annual Audit Plan.
- Conduct Annual Risk Assessments and develop Audit Plans that address the organisation's risk profile and strategic objectives
- Regularly meet with the Audit Committee and Senior Management to discuss audit findings and emerging risks.
Requirements:
- Significant experience within Internal Audit in a manufacturing environment is required
- Experience in leading and establishing, or building an Internal Audit function is a major advantage
- Fluency in English and German is required
- Exposure to global businesses, and interactions with stakehodlers in different regions is a major advantage (e.g. Asia, Americas).
- Professional Qualifications are advantageous (e.g. CIA, CPA, CISA)
