We are seeking a visionary CEO to lead LiCuSpace through its next phase — from its current prototype and early market traction to industrial production, strategic partnerships, and global positioning among the world's top 30 measurement-instrument companies.

Position Summary

The CEO will drive company strategy, growth, and operational excellence across technology, sales, and investor relations. This is a hands-on leadership role for an executive who combines commercial acumen with technical literacy, and who can inspire a world-class team while engaging investors, partners, and customers across science and industry.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Positioning & Growth

·       Define and strengthen LiCuSpace's global brand in the world of high-precision measurement technology.

·       Position the company competitively among leading instrument manufacturers and innovation drivers.

·       Achieve organizational scale by meeting revenue targets with a balanced product portfolio.

2. Company Objectives & Metrics

·       Establish clear, measurable growth targets across product development, manufacturing, software and team building.

·       Translate company values into actionable KPIs and communicate them with clarity and accountability.

3. Business Development & Sales

·       Lead strategic sales initiatives from concept through customer decision.

·       Deliver early-stage sales to meet initial targets.

·       Expand customer base and drive manufacturing capacity alignment.

·       Oversee IP commercialization, including external licensing of core patents.

4. Marketing & Communications

·       Build compelling business cases for customers and investors ("one-stop" solution messaging).

·       Create a simple, powerful visual and narrative identity for LiCuSpace across digital and print channels.

·       Elevate awareness through consistent technical storytelling and thought leadership.

5. Organization & Leadership

·       Develop and mentor future leaders; establish a succession plan for continuity.

·       Build a cohesive, multidisciplinary team culture of performance, creativity, and mutual respect.

6. Partnerships & Alliances

·       Identify and engage strategic partners aligned with company goals.

·       Negotiate manufacturing and R&D partnerships (e.g., within Bavaria and beyond).

·       Strengthen LiCuSpace's profile in the global meteorology and environmental-tech community.

7. Investment & Finance

·       Lead investor outreach to secure growth capital.

·       Maintain strong relationships with investors by sharing clear vision, transparent communication and performance reporting.

8. Product & Technology Management

·       Shape product strategy, roadmap, and diversification.

·       Ensure product-market fit across the entire roadmap, integrating feedback from physics, software, and engineering teams.

·       Guide key development programs, several of which have already been defined.

9. Internal Systems & Operations

·       Drive organizational planning, ERP implementation, and process design.

·       Oversee production scaling, quality systems, software development, and engineering-manufacturing integration.

·       Maintain internal stability and control while fostering innovation and speed.

Leadership Integration

The CEO will join as a strategic co-pilot to the current Managing Director and Lead Engineers, thus ensuring operational stability while driving expansion.

Equity participation will be structured through standard GESSI contracts, with capital substitution ensuring organizational balance and continuity. Employee ownership is encouraged as part of long-term alignment.

Candidate Profile

Required:

·       Proven experience scaling a high-tech, instrumentation, or deep-tech venture.

·       Strong understanding of scientific instruments, environmental technology, or advanced manufacturing.

·       Track record in raising capital and managing investor relations.

·       Visionary leadership and the ability to connect R&D excellence with commercial outcomes.

·       Fluent English; German proficiency a plus.
