The Opportunity

Micro-AGI is at a pivotal stage of growth. We are transitioning from a Raspberry Pi-based prototype to a professional, frictionless hardware product. We are looking for a high-caliber engineer —with solid experience and a problem-solving mindset to lead our hardware redesign and electrical circuit development.

Your Mission

  • Redesign for Scalability: Transform our current "clunky" prototype into a sleek, reliable, and integrated hardware solution.
  • Electrical Circuit & PCB Design: Lead the development of our electrical circuits using professional CAD tools for multi-layer PCB layouts.
  • Eliminate Technical Debt: Solve existing reliability issues (power management, app connectivity, and sensor stability) through robust engineering.
  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Optimize the product for mass production, significantly reducing manual assembly steps like gluing and screwing.

Your Profile

  • Education: Degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven professional track record in hardware design and taking a product from concept to production-ready.
  • Technical Skills: * Expert-level CAD skills and PCB design experience.
  • Deep understanding of embedded systems and circuit optimization.
  • Language: Proficiency in English; German is a significant advantage for local coordination.
  • Availability: Must be able to work in Aachen for the month of January before relocating to/working from our Munich office.
