We're now looking for a
UX/UI Designer as part of our EXIST grant team
to help us design a future of workplace learning that is intuitive and engaging. You'll work directly with the founders to shape the product first-hand.

The Role

We are looking for a well-rounded
UX/UI Designer
to join our team as part of the EXIST grant. As one of our
first employees
, you will have a direct impact on shaping the design and user experience of our products. You will design both the
training app
(focused on interactive, personalized AI-powered learning) and a
learning analytics solution
(focused on measuring progress and impact). You will also help us develop a clear and engaging
visual brand identity
.

This role is a unique chance to
join a funded startup at a very early stage
, work closely with the founding team, and gain valuable startup experience.

What You Will Do

• Design the
  UX and UI
  for our
  training app
  and
  analytics dashboard
  , ensuring intuitive and engaging user flows.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems for consistent product design.
• Create interactive and engaging
  learning media
  together with our learning experts
• Conduct
  user research
  and
  usability testing
  to validate design concepts.
• Collaborate closely with developers and subject matter experts to bring designs to life.
• Create a clear and engaging
  visual brand identity.
• Contribute creative ideas to make learning
  fun, gamified, and impactful
  .

What You Bring to the Table

• University degree
  (preferably in Design, HCI, Media, Computer Science, or related field), completed within the last
  5 years
  (EXIST requirement - no exceptions possible).
• Strong
  portfolio
  demonstrating UX/UI design skills, ideally including mobile/web apps.
• Proficiency in design tools such as
  Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  .
• Proficiency in working with
  generative AI tools
  or an excitement to learn.
• Understanding of
  user research and usability testing methods
  .
• Interest in
  edtech, HR tech, or gamified learning
  is a strong plus.
• Motivation to join an
  early-stage startup team
  and grow with us.
• Fluency in English (German is a plus).

Due to the conditions of the EXIST program, this position is only open to applicants with registered residence (Anmeldung) in Germany who graduated university within the past 5 years.
