Application Engineer - Optical Sensing (m/d/w)

Deine Aufgaben

  • Technischer Support (HW/SW/Optik) für die Bereiche Engineering, Marketing, Produktmanagement und Kunden
  • Leistungsanalyse und Systemvalidierung von Produkten von ams Osram und Konkurrenzprodukten
  • Entwurf, Planung, Dokumentation und Entwicklung neuer Hardware für Sensor-Evaluierungskits, von den ersten Spezifikationen bis hin zu den Prototypen
  • Verfassen von Anwendungshinweisen, Artikeln und Präsentationen
  • Vorbereitung von Produktpräsentationen und Schulungen für Kunden und interne Angestellte
  • Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen und multidisziplinären Projektteams
  • Zeitnahe und genaue Rückmeldung sowie enge Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden und FAEs zur Lösung technischer Probleme
  • Testen und Bewerten neuer Technologien

Wen wir suchen

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, Optik, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering oder einem verwandten technischen Studienfach
  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung
  • Proaktives und selbstständiges Vorgehen bei der Problemlösung und Erledigung von Aufgaben
  • Kenntnisse über Embedded Systems und Software
  • Erfahrung mit Tests und Charakterisierungen in Elektroniklabors
  • Erfahrung mit optischen Systemen, optischen Filtern, Mikrooptik (MLA) und Unterhaltungselektronik ist von Vorteil
  • Gute Präsentationsfähigkeiten
  • Fließende Englischkenntnisse, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
  • Reisebereitschaft (bis zu 5%)
