Your daily tasks will include
Designing and implement data pipelines and workflows, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

Monitoring and optimizing data pipeline performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure seamless data flow.

Assisting in designing and developing enterprise-level data architectures to create scalable and efficient data processing pipelines.

Contributing to the creation of technical roadmaps and data strategies that drive data initiatives.

Exploring and evaluating new data technologies and methodologies, developing proof-of-concepts to validate their applicability.

Collaborating with senior engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to learn data engineering practices, understand data needs, and develop effective solutions.

The following will make you succeed in this role

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer with an analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities

Expertise with: ETL/ELT Tooling, Data Modelling, Data Catalogs, Data Governance

Hands-on experience with: Python, SQL, Java, Scala
and/or
Rust as well as Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, dbt, Infrastructure as Code, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Fluency in German and English

Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities within the DACH region

Deine Aufgaben Im Überblick

• Entwicklung und Pflege von ETL/ELT-Pipelines für die Datenintegration.
• Erstellung und Optimierung von Datenmodellen zur Unterstützung der Geschäftsanforderungen.
• Datenbankabfragen und -analysen mit SQL durchführen.
• Implementierung von Datenqualitätsprüfungen und -überwachung.
• Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Teams zur Unterstützung datengetriebener Entscheidungen.

Was Du Mitbringen Solltest

• Ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Data Science oder einem verwandten Bereich ist erforderlich.
• +10 Jahre Erfahrung in Python sind ein Muss für diese Position.
• +10 Jahre Erfahrung mit SQL sind ein Muss für diese Position.
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in ETL/ELT-Tools sind erforderlich.
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in der Datenmodellierung sind erforderlich.
• Deutsch (C2) und Englisch (C1) sind zwingend erforderlich.
