Role Overview

The Director of Diagnostic Operations & Strategy will lead operational performance, cross-functional execution, and strategic initiatives across the company's diagnostics portfolio in Germany. This role sits at the intersection of operations, commercial, and regulatory, ensuring efficient delivery of diagnostic solutions while supporting growth and compliance.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead operational strategy for diagnostic products and services in Germany


• Oversee diagnostic workflows, supply chain coordination, and service delivery


• Partner closely with Commercial, Quality/Regulatory, and Product teams


• Drive operational readiness for product launches and market expansion


• Establish and track KPIs related to quality, turnaround time, and customer performance


• Support scalability initiatives and process optimization efforts


• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service partners


• Lead and develop a high-performing operations team


• Ensure alignment with German and EU regulatory and quality requirements


• Provide executive-level reporting and strategic insight to leadership

Qualifications


• 8+ years experience in diagnostics, laboratory operations, medical devices, or IVD sectors


• Experience in operational leadership at Director level or above


• Strong understanding of diagnostic workflows and regulated environments


• Experience working in Germany and across EU markets


• Ability to collaborate across commercial, regulatory, and technical teams


• Fluency in English required; German strongly preferred


• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

Location & Travel

Hybrid role based in Germany with some travel across Europe.
