Our culture of curiosity, responsibility, and humility empowers our team to innovate rapidly.Located in Molecular Characterization within Large Molecule Research, we focus on novel therapeutic antibodies and next generation biologics.Your TeamWe offer an internship in "Functional Characterization," where you'll work with multidisciplinary teams of associates/scientists dedicated to the in-depth characterization of complex biologics.This project based internship in the field of synthetic biology/immunology is focusing on the development of a highly sensitive stable reporter gene cell line to characterize next generation large molecule therapeutics and evaluate new technologies for the development of potency assays.Your Tasks And ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and application of cell-free protein-protein or cell-based protein-cell interaction methods, especially ELISA and cell based assays, for the functional characterization of therapeutic protein drugsInterpretation of data and transfer of results to your supervisor.Support interdisciplinary teams within the unit of Molecule CharacterizationContribution to the establishment/adaption of new protocolsParticipating in bringing new molecules to the patientsYour profileYou are currently enrolled as a Master student in Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology or a comparable study program for the entire duration of the internshipYou are excited about learning new techniques, data processing, evaluation, and discussing resultsYou are willing to perform wet lab experiments and eager to establish new techniquesYou are a highly motivated person, a strong team player, but capable of working independently where necessaryYou have experience with aseptic techniques and mammalian cell culture practicesYou have interest and basic knowledge in cell-based molecular biology methodsYour AdvantagesFlexible working hours (37.5 hours/week)€2092 remuneration per month for a full-time internship > 3 monthsDiscounted meal prices (-50%) in our canteenFitness center on the Roche campusNetworking with other studentsThe possibility of accommodation in the Roche Boarding House or convenient transport connections to Munich with the Roche shuttleYour ApplicationSimply upload your resume.Please remember that this internship is aimed at students (m/f/d) who are currently enrolled for the entire period of the internship.StartFrom 1st January 2026, or according to agreement, for 6 months in Penzberg.This position is suitable for students looking for a full-time internship.We are excited to see your applicationYour contact to us With people.
