What You Bring

Must-Have Experience 

• Proven experience in product management or product innovation, with a strong understanding of the full product lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to lead discovery and delivery phases, balancing speed and rigor.
• Skilled at building MVPs, managing pilots, and iterating quickly based on feedback and data.
• Strong analytical mindset — you use metrics, research, and experimentation to make decisions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills — you bring together engineers, designers, and business stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in defining and tracking KPIs and success metrics for new product initiatives.
• Fluency in German (C1) and English (C1+) for seamless collaboration across teams and partners.

Nice-to-Haves 

• Background in energy, mobility, or sustainability tech.
• Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g. Lean Startup, Design Thinking).
• Familiarity with R&D, prototyping tools, or rapid experimentation environments.

Location: Hamburg, Germany (Hybrid – up to 2 remote days/week)

As our Product Innovation Manager, you'll lead the charge on turning bold concepts into tangible impact. From idea to MVP, prototype to pilot, you'll own the full innovation lifecycle — identifying opportunities, validating customer needs, and transforming data-driven insights into real-world solutions. 

You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, data, and design teams to bring new ideas to life and define what the next generation of Rabot products looks like.

• You've launched multiple MVPs or pilot projects, generating actionable insights and tangible business value.
• Rabot has a clear, repeatable innovation framework that supports fast experimentation and data-informed decisions.
• You've built cross-functional alignment between product, engineering, and business teams on how innovation scales.
• The organization recognizes you as a key driver of forward-thinking product ideas and emerging opportunities.
• New concepts have moved from exploration to implementation, contributing to Rabot's mission of accelerating the energy transition.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end product innovation cycles — from idea generation and validation to prototype development and pilot launches.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and design teams to explore new technologies and bring ideas to market quickly.
• Use data and experimentation to evaluate new concepts, ensuring they meet customer needs and market potential.
• Establish and continuously refine innovation processes, frameworks, and metrics to track impact.
• Manage MVP and pilot projects, defining success criteria and translating learnings into scalable product opportunities.
• Partner with marketing and product teams to shape compelling product narratives and go-to-market messaging.
• Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity, identifying new growth opportunities.
• Report directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), helping to shape Rabot's overall product innovation strategy.
