As our Senior Localisation Program Manager, you'll build and scale our localisation strategy to make SumUp's voice resonate across languages and markets. You'll connect teams across Brand, Marketing, and Product to deliver consistent, high-quality content worldwide — while driving innovation through automation, AI, and smarter workflows that power our global growth.

What you'll be doing

• Lead localisation strategy and planning – develop and execute localisation roadmaps to adapt SumUp's content for global markets, supporting marketing and  brand initiatives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  
  
• Streamline operations and alignment – act as the key connector across teams (Brand, Marketing, Content, Design, and Product) to ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery of multi-market campaigns and assets.
  
  
• Drive innovation through automation and AI – consolidate ongoing automation initiatives into a cohesive strategy, fostering collaboration across team members and improving efficiency, speed, and scalability.
  
  
• Champion collaboration and motivation – embody a servant-leadership approach to inspire peers, encourage ownership, and build bridges between teams working on diverse automation and localisation projects.
  
  
• Own program management and continuous improvement – oversee localisation programs, reporting on progress and impact, identifying new tools, and implementing self-serve and hybrid AI-first models to optimise global content production for quality.

Who you are

• You're a strategic and hands-on localization leader with experience driving end-to-end localization and global content strategies in fast-paced, dynamic environments — ideally within startups or scaleups.
  
  
• You thrive in change, demonstrating flexibility and resilience while adapting priorities and leading through ambiguity.
  
  
• You bring strong globalization expertise, understanding internationalization principles and demonstrating deep cultural and linguistic awareness to ensure authentic, high-impact content across markets.
  
  
• You have a proven track record in localization strategy, program, and project management, able to connect multiple stakeholders and teams to deliver consistent results at scale.
  
  
• You're proficient with translation management systems (TMS) and familiar with tools and processes that streamline workflows and enhance collaboration.
  
  
• You're curious and forward-thinking, leveraging automation and AI to evolve localization models, optimize efficiency, and accelerate go-to-market delivery.
  
  
• You lead through influence — a servant leader who empowers peers, builds bridges across teams, and motivates others to do their best work.
  
  
• You combine strategic vision with operational excellence, bringing together your marketing and content background to ensure every localized asset reflects SumUp's global brand identity.
