Responsibilities

  • Screening, managing, and analyzing BNVC's deal flow.
  • Active deal sourcing/networking to spot promising startups within relevant verticals in the nightlife industry.
  • Conducting in-depth market research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
  • Analyzing financial statements, business models, and market dynamics to assess investment viability.
  • Contributing to preparing investment memos for the due diligence process and participating in deal closing.
  • Supporting negotiation and structuring of investment deals.
  • Providing value-add to portfolio startups by assisting founders in fundraising and maintaining relationships with industry stakeholders.
  • Representing Best Nights VC in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Track Record & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of VC or Consumer-Startup experience (preferably in the cultural and lifestyle industry).
  • Strong consumer/lifestyle knowledge, ideally demonstrated through work with iconic consumer brands.
  • Strategic and analytical skills honed in an agile and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, evident in strong communication both online and offline.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the startup ecosystem and emerging trends.
