Die Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH steht mit ihren beiden Marken MWM und CAT für hoch­effiziente und umweltfreundliche Anlagen zur dezentralen Energie­erzeugung. Das in Mannheim ansässige Unternehmen wurde im Jahre 1871 vom Autopionier Carl Benz gegründet. Die Produkte stehen für mehr als 150 Jahre Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Optimierung von Gasmotoren und Stromaggregaten für Erdgas, Biogas und weitere Sondergase. Product Service Engineer (m/w/d)

Einsatzort: Deutschland, Mannheim

Ihre Tätigkeit:

  • Weltweiter Product Support von elektrischen Komponenten, Steuerungssystemen, Generatoren und Schaltanlagen
  • Durchführen und Leiten von Troubleshootings remote, wie auch vor Ort
  • Analyse, Beurteilung und Lösung von komplexen Fehlerbildern
  • Koordination von Produkt- und Anwendungsproblemen
  • Managen und Lösen von technisch sowie kommerziell herausfordernden Problemstellungen
  • Aktive Mitarbeit in CPI (Continuous Product Improvement) Projekten, verantwortlich für die datenbasierte Eröffnung von neuen CPI Projekten
  • Managen von Product Health Themen
  • Technische Beurteilung von Gewährleistungs- und Kulanzentscheidungen
  • Entwicklungs- und Field Follow Projekte eigenverantwortlich begleiten

Ihre Qualifikation:

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium (z.B. im Bereich Elektrotechnik) oder Technikerausbildung mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung
  • Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen im Bereich Steuerungstechnik, Schaltanlagen, Generatoren, Motoren von Vorteil
  • Mindestens 5-10 Jahre Berufserfahrung
  • Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit
  • Selbstständige und zielgerichtete Arbeitsweise
  • Ausgeprägte analytische Problemlösungsfähigkeiten
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Internationale Reisebereitschaft
