Role Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Software Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that software applications meet the highest quality standards. You will create and execute test cases, identify bugs, and collaborate with developers to improve the overall functionality and performance of our products.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting manual and automated tests, tracking defects, and verifying that issues are resolved. You will play a critical role in identifying software defects early in the development process, helping ensure that products are reliable and user-friendly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, executing, and maintaining test cases for new software features.
  • Conducting manual and automated testing to identify software defects.
  • Collaborating with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Tracking and documenting defects, providing clear feedback to development teams.
  • Ensuring the software meets all functional, performance, and security requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining test scripts, test data, and documentation.
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring test coverage is sufficient.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
