Your responsibilities

  • Support the engineering team in designing solar PV systems (preliminary, permitting, execution, and as-built phases)
  • Assist in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, and technical documentation
  • Perform basic technical calculations (energy yield, cable sizing, inverter selection, shading checks)
  • Conduct research on standards, grid requirements, and new solar technologies
  • Support preparation of tenders, BoQs, and technical specifications
  • Help review supplier offers and compare technical data sheets
  • Maintain engineering databases and update project documentation
  • Assist with on-site measurements, surveys, or construction follow-ups (if required)
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, procurement, construction) to support project progress
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries for internal stakeholders
 

Your profile

  • Background in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of solar PV system components (modules, inverters, mounting, cables)
  • Familiarity with PV design tools (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Pvcase, or similar) is a plus
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and SLDs
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and deliver tasks on time
  • Strong communication skills in English; German is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Interest in renewable energy, engineering standards, and grid-connected PV systems
