The Role: What to expect

Join our Deployment team and help bring cutting-edge robotics and IoT solutions to life at our customer sites. You'll be the key link between our technology and real-world operations – ensuring our robots are safely installed, connected, and ready to perform.

Role Responsibilities: What you will do
  • Travel to customer facilities to install, configure, and commission idealworks robots, fleet management and IoT devices. 
  • Connect and test power, sensors, and communication wiring, ensuring safe and reliable operation. 
  • Set up and configure network infrastructure to integrate robots with the fleet management system. 
  • Perform on-site testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of robots and connected systems. 
  • Collaborate with central technical teams to document setups, report issues, and suggest improvements. 
  • Provide operator training and on-site support to customer teams. 
  • Maintain clear and detailed records of commissioning activities and configurations. 


Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
  • Strong interest in computers, robotics, and electrical systems. 
  • Basic experience with low-voltage electrical work, wiring, or sensors. 
  • Hands-on knowledge of network setup (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP addressing, routers, switches). 
  • Confident using Linux systems and command-line tools. 
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting skills and organization skills.
  • Customer facing skills to present complex processes of logistics automation in an understandable way.
  • Fluent in English (B2,C1,C2) and also in German (C1,C2). 
  • You have a class B driver's license valid in Germany and willingness to travel 80–100% of the time. 
Nice to have
  • Previous experience as a field technician, IT support, or electrical installer. 
  • Training as mechatronics technician or similar 
  • Familiarity with industrial or warehouse environments. 
  • Ability to read electrical or network diagrams.
