We offer services in food safety, ranging from product development oversight to training and regulatory compliance for clients in retail, food production, and food service.

To support and further ensure food safety audits in the food production sector we are seeking an independent contractor in Supplier Assurance Auditors (Field-Based) in Germany.

Responsibilities
  • Represent NSF with the designated clients
  • Logistical, cost effective planning of all assigned audits
  • Develop effective audit plans for the completion of assigned audits within a specific timeframe
  • Summarize and evaluate audit findings
  • Communicate recorded non-conformances with client site management or appropriate client representatives
  • Submit audit reports according to scheme requirements and NSF's defined KPIs
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with key team members, including audit delivery and key account team members
  • Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications
  • Relevant scientific post-secondary degree (e.g., Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Public Health)
  • HACCP training/certification (CODEX or NACMCF standard; minimum 2-day course
  • Lead Auditor Training (minimum 40 hours)
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in the food industry (e.g., manufacturing, distribution, packaging, food service)
  • Fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
  • Audit Assessment, technical and behavioral thinking skills
  • Experience in animal welfare would be a plus
