Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Sportsbook team in Berlin. Reporting to the Head of Sportsbook you will deliver site content across all channels that reflects the sportsbook strategy for Germany. You will control all homepage content, sports pages, promotional display, site navigation, and bespoke betting components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sports and sports betting, with a keen eye for detail and strategic mindset.

Your primary responsibilities as Sportsbook Content Executive will include to effectively manage the day-to-day activities and business levels of our sportsbook.

You will be working closely with Product & Brand/Social; giving input to the CRM team on Sportsbook campaign/content plans ensuring all big and important events are covered, liaising with the content team to keep the product pages optimised per country (with the focus on Germany) and up to date with relevant events.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Implement the content strategy as defined by the Sportsbook team to ensure a sportsbook delivery that meets regional needs (with the focus on Germany)

• Maintain site content in a live environment ensuring all content is always relevant

• Plan and manage the content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of content across different channels

• Manage carousel banners, coupons, and promotional content on-site

• Schedule display in line with sporting events specific to your region (with the focus Germany)

• Ensure that promotions and offers are highlighted to enhance both acquisition and retention

• Produce longer term content plans with the Head of Sportsbook based on the sporting calendar to complement the Media coverage and Brand identity

• Collaborate closely with the trading functions to deliver bespoke betting content

• Review the performance of products based on site placement

• Ensure the customer journey to key products is seamless

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Trading teams to align campaigns

• Ensure our product follows all compliance and regulatory requirements in line with local legislation (with the focus on Germany)

• Apply accurate translations to all site content as required

• Benchmark against competitors and provide recommendations to optimise content

• Test customer journeys regularly to deliver a smooth player experience

• Constantly aim to improve the Sportsbook KPIs set to you by the business

Qualifications

Specialist Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years' experience within the online sports betting industry

• You are fluent both in German (native speaker level) and English

• Prior experience in a role with responsibility for content delivery

• A passion for sport and a strong knowledge of the sporting calendar with regional bias (Germany)

• Strong understanding of sports and betting markets

• Experience working with CMS systems (e.g. Sitecore) and sportsbook platforms

• Be able to work multitask in a high paced working environment

• Strong verbal on non-verbal communication skills

• Meticulous attention to detail in reviewing and updating content

• Strong communicator, comfortable working across teams

• Customer-focused, with a proactive approach to spotting issues and improvements
