Area Director – Central Europe (Gemrany)
About the Role

AtriCure is seeking a dynamic and strategic Area Director to lead and inspire our commercial teams across the Germany and surrounding distributor countries. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for driving regional growth, strengthening brand presence, and fostering strategic relationships with physicians, hospitals, and payers.

You'll coordinate the efforts of Regional Directors, Sales Managers, and Clinical Specialists, ensuring alignment with AtriCure's long-term business goals while maintaining strong communication between the field and senior leadership.

The role must be based in Germany, ideally located close to international airport and train station to ensure smooth travel ability

What You'll Do
Lead and coach Regional Directors, Sales Managers, and Clinical Specialists to drive revenue and brand awarenessSet performance goals and oversee sales forecasting activitiesCollaborate with Marketing and Professional Education to target high-potential areas and optimize campaign impactMonitor and analyze weekly sales data to inform strategic decisionsEnsure consistent communication and knowledge sharing across teamsBuild and maintain strategic account plans to deliver superior customer valueRepresent AtriCure at national and international events and support corporate initiativesIdentify and develop talent to grow the team and businessStrengthen clinical and strategic relationships across the region What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree10+ years of successful medical device sales and/or sales management experienceStrong understanding of business drivers for growth, profitability, and cash flowStrategic thinker with the ability to overcome sales obstacles and create impactful solutionsProven leadership and coaching capabilitiesWillingness and ability to travel 50%+ across the region Why Join Us?
