This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of functional safety architecture for ASIL B–D compliant SoCs, working directly with RTL and silicon teams to implement fault-tolerant features such as ECC, lockstep, watchdogs, and BIST. Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the safety architecture for ASIL B–D compliant SoCs
  • Define, implement and validate safety features (ECC, lockstep, watchdogs, BIST, etc.)
  • Lead safety analysis activities including FMEDA, FTA, HARA and DFA
  • Engage directly with partners, assessors and certification bodies
  • Incorporate SOTIF and cybersecurity standards into system-level architecture
  • Contribute to internal safety processes, tools and technical documentation

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in semiconductor-level functional safety
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and hardware safety architecture
  • Deep familiarity with RTL-level fault handling and verification flows
  • Confidence in leading safety assessments and audits
  • Experience with safety tooling (e.g. Medini, Ansys) and safety documentation
  • Ideally some exposure to AI/ML accelerators, SOTIF and ISO/SAE 21434
