G+D is looking for a Junior Product Manager (m/f/d) to lead product innovations into market success for G+D's Public, Transit and Enterprise Business. This is a position with strategic importance to the successful market development of G+D and you will take an important part to make a productive contribution to innovations and commercial success.

• Practical experience and commercial background in at least one of the following areas: e-Payment -, eHealth -, Authentication - and ID-industry, Smart Cities.
• Excellent communication skills, empathic, team player and organizational talent.
• Managing existing product developments, initiating the creation of new products and related business cases during the whole lifecycle - from Idea to market success.
• Become a role model and contact for other team members in regards to overall product creation process.
• Show full understanding and drive the product creation process whilst managing all tasks within the given budget and time frames.
• Use the experience and knowledge to predict market developments and create commercial plans incl. P&L and strategies for G+D to benefit from these developments - be innovative.
• Monitor the financial performance of relevant products and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
• Provide high level of product expertise to keep products and services ready for future and create new applications for industry leading products.
• Keep closely up to date with global demands and trends for secure applications to expand existing customer business - identify and create new business opportunities to drive innovation and/or commerciality.
• Be a competent partner for product-development, marketing and sales
• Pro-actively analyze business, draw conclusions and act upon; drive profitability and efficiency.
• Represent G+D's values and technical experience towards customers and business partners.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with cross-functional teams and with interlinked departments to enable an efficient product creation process; ensure product excellence.
• Initiate, stay in touch and coordinate with technology-and sales-partners.
• Use product management systems and the interlinking functions to achieve clarity on respective timelines and budget.
• Prepare and present business related topics to senior management - with respective audience in mind - by using relevant structure and content
• Optimize time to market performance; work independently and steer to conclusion.

• You have completed your Master's or Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field with above-average
• Prior experience with payments cards and product management
• Customer-oriented mindset paired with structured and strategic approach to work
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured, strategic mindset.
• Communication skill set, including effective negotiation and clear transportation of information
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, Spanish is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of respective product category
