You can look forward to these tasksInvestigate and compare different energy markets and cost structures in China and Europe and analyze how they can be leveraged for cost-efficient charging of TRATON fleets as well as third party EV fleetsAssess the technical and regulatory feasibililty of implementing TRATON charging management solutions in different marketsEvaluate, calculate or simulate potential revenue streams for EV fleets (e.g. trading, ancillary services, grid costs) accordingly, including:
Potential revenue from optimized battery aging and battery life shapingEnergy savings through optimized preconditioning of batteries and cabinEvaluate and compare already available charging management solutions, with a focus on the optimization features of those offers Document results and used models in an understandable wayPresent results including forecasts for the coming years
We are looking forward to
Currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable fieldFluent in English, both written and spoken, knowledge of German and Swedish is an advantageHands-on experience with modelingSelf-driven and results-oriented
Additional information
An internship of up to 3 months prior to the master's thesis (approx. 6 months) is desirable.
