Global Payroll Analyst

About the Role:

Are you ready for a challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Payroll Specialist to join a large global Payroll team in Berlin. Reporting to the Payroll Team Lead for the DACH region, you will manage outsourced payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various payroll activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist with knowledge of payroll and salary administration who thrives in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for approximately 10,000 employees.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payments, deductions, and tax/social security submissions.
  • Prepare variable data for submission and ensure accuracy.
  • Manage absences, vacation balances, and departures.
  • Analyze payroll data to provide insights for other teams (e.g., finance).
  • Maintain data integrity and oversee payroll-related queries through the People Portal.
  • Manage payroll checklists for submissions, approvals, month-end, and quarter-end.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous learning.
  • Stay up to date with payroll legislation and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications / Skills Required:

  • Advanced training in payroll, accounting, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in payroll accounting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Effective communication skills to explain payroll statements, policies, and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Fluent in German and English.
