Our client is a global private markets investment manager with a longstanding track record across the alternatives. With a reputation for delivering exceptional performance and a strong institutional client base, they are seeking a senior professional to lead fundraising and investor relations efforts across the DACH region.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in deepening existing relationships and building new partnerships with institutional LPs, including pension funds, insurance companies, family offices & consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead capital raising activities across all fund strategies in the DACH region
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing institutional LPs while identifying and cultivating new investors
  • Collaborate closely with investment teams and global IR professionals to articulate strategy, performance, and positioning
  • Drive the fundraising process from initial engagement to final close, including RFP responses, due diligence, and investor onboarding
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and roadshows throughout the region

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of raising capital for private markets funds
  • Deep network of institutional LPs across the DACH region
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, or placement for alternatives.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • German language skills preferred but not essential; fluency in English required
