Werkstudent - Data Platform Engineer (m/w/d)
in Vollzeit (40 Stunden/Woche)

Daten sind eine zentrale Ressource für die GEMA und ihre Geschäftsprozesse. Unsere Mission ist es, die Entwicklung hochwertiger Datenprodukte und Insights für die Musikbranche zu ermöglichen und die Nutzung von Daten effizient und sicher zu gestalten. Eine dezentrale Datenplattform, eine aktive Daten-Community und ein modernes, auf Self-Service fokussiertes Data Governance Model eröffnen uns neue Geschäftsfelder. Als Werkstudent Data Platform Engineer unterstützt du uns bei der Weiterentwicklung unserer modernen Datenplattform.

Gemeinsam mit uns gestaltest du die Zukunft unserer datengetriebenen Kultur.

Hier spielt die Musik – Dein Einsatzgebiet:

  • Du implementierst Features und Tools, die die Arbeit mit unserer Data Plattform für unsere unterschiedlichen User intuitiv und angenehm gestalten.
  • Du entwickelst Infrastructure as Code, und Tools für Deployment und Management der Infrastruktur der Data Plattform.
  • Du gestaltest die Zukunft der Plattform, indem du eigene innovative Ideen entwickelst und einbringst.
  • Du unterstützt die Dokumentation von Architektur und Prozessen, Best Practices und Blueprints der Plattform und teilst dein Wissen mit dem Team und den Usern.
  • Du arbeitest Hand in Hand mit Teamkollegen verschiedener Erfahrungsstufen (z.B. im Pairing). Dabei lernst du unter anderem: Python, Terraform, Github Workflows.

Stimmig – Deine Qualifikationen:

  • Du bist aktuell in relevanten Studiengang eingeschrieben (z.B. Informatik, Data Engineering, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Mathematik).
  • Du stehst am Anfang deines Masterstudiums oder hast noch mindestens zwei Semester vor dir.
  • Du hast erste praktische Erfahrung mit Cloud-Technologien (z. B. GCP), Data-Engineering-Technologien (z. B. Spark, Databricks) oder Infrastructure-as-Code-Tools (z.B. Terraform).
  • Du bringst grundlegende Kenntnisse in einer Programmiersprache wie Python mit.
  • Du hast Interesse an Themen wie Datenarchitekturen, Infrastrukturautomatisierung und Continuous Integration.
  • Du arbeitest sorgfältig, analytisch und hast Freude daran, technische Lösungen gemeinsam im Team zu entwickeln.
  • Du bist neugierig, kommunikationsstark und möchtest praktische Erfahrung in einem modernen Data-&-AI-Umfeld sammeln.
  • Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (verhandlungssicher) und sehr gute Englischkenntnisse.
