In the Automotive Engineering Laboratory we are now looking for a:

Standardization Engineer for Safety ADAS (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled candidate to participate in standardizations and regulations development. Interpretation of the above is a requirement and homologation related working experience is an advantage.

The candidate should have experience and understanding about ADAS in the specific fields of FuSa, SOTIF, safety for AI, and general familiarity with ADAS architectures. The candidate will contribute in a multidisciplinary international team to our global research and development community.

Your mission 

  • Analyze standard and regulation impact on product design, product development and market access and participate in standard and regulation development on FuSa, SOTIF, safety for AI in Germany, EU and international standard bodies
  • Support vehicle homologation processes, including type approval, OTA compliance and relevant activities.
  • Generating insights on technical development and industries development of FuSa, SOTIF, safety for AI in EU.
  • Establish good communication with stakeholders of intelligent vehicle, build and improve industry connectivity and influence.

Your areas of expertise

  • Master's or higher degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in standard and regulation development or ADAS R&D, experience on standards (e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ISO PAS 8800, ISO TS 5083), regulations (e.g. UNECE R157/R171, (EU) 2022/1426, UNR), is preferred.
  • Strong communication capabilities. English is mandatory.
  • Enthusiastic to work as part of our international team.
  • Willing to travel international (about 30% of time).
