: Join our team and work directly with our founding team (CEO/CTO office) at the intersection of
LNG trading & shipping, and building an AI startup
. This is a hands-on
Founder's Associate internship:
you'll support high-priority initiatives across business development, client work, partnerships, strategy, and internal execution—whatever moves the needle.

A key part of the role is deep exposure to the LNG trading and shipping world: while we are not trading ourselves, we build software used daily by LNG traders, originators, schedulers, and shipping teams at energy majors and trading houses. You will learn the language of the industry, understand real trading workflows, and work close to the problems our product solves—pricing drivers, portfolio decisions, schedules, vessels, contracts, optionalities, and constraints.

If you want to found your own company one day, this internship is designed to be a steep learning curve: you'll observe how founders make decisions, sell, prioritize, execute under uncertainty, and build a product-driven organization.

Responsibilities


• Work with the founding team on high-priority initiatives (strategy support, execution, and follow-through)


• Business development: outreach, pipeline building, preparation for calls, and follow-ups, prepare workshops and presentations.


• Model LNG trading and shipping operations with our software. Research and structure insights on LNG trading, LNG shipping, commodity markets, competitors, and partnerships.


• Help plan and run workshops, customer meetings, and events (including conference support)


• Support on general startup topics as they come up (ad-hoc CEO/CTO office tasks; "whatever moves the needle")

Qualifications


• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Management, or a science/engineering field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or similar


• Exceptional communication skills: confident speaking with professionals; strong writing & rhetoric


• Highly social and people-oriented: you enjoy engaging, building rapport, and opening doors


• Strong ownership mindset: proactive, hands-on, reliable, and comfortable with ambiguity


• Strong interest in LNG, commodity trading, energy markets, and shipping (prior experience is a plus, curiosity is required)


• Comfortable creating structured content in PowerPoint/Slides and tracking in Excel/Sheets


• Coding skills are a plus (e.g., Python/SQL or general technical comfort), but not required for this role


• Based in Berlin


• Entrepreneurial ambition: you're excited to learn how startups operate and want close exposure to founders
