Position for IG Business Development and Execution

The candidate will work alongside the existing investment banking team in Frankfurt as well as investment banking colleagues in China and globally. The job duties associated with this role include but will not be limited to:

  1. Take a key role in the execution of cross-border M&A and capital market transactions
  2. Assist in the preparation of transaction related documents, build financial models, conduct valuations, coordinate due diligence workstreams and Q&A process
  3. Develop and maintain sector expertise (including forecasting industry prospects in China vs. Europe), analyse key trends and developments to help originate investment banking mandates
  4. Support in preparing pitch decks for prospective clients
  5. Maintain and grow relationships with European multinational firms, Private Equities, other advisors etc.

Skills:

  1. Upright, humble, diligent with high moral values.
  2. Bachelor's degree or above.
  3. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese – proficiency in German/French/Italian/Spanish is a plus
  4. Proven team player with good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of an international team
  5. Previous working experience in investment banking/M&A/capital markets or related field (e.g. Transaction Services, Valuation, Strategy Consulting) is preferred.
  6. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  7. Strong work ethic and paying attention to detail on all deliverables 8.International experience/cultural sensitivity
  8. Passion and resilience for business development and idea generation
