Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Channel Manager to develop and manage strategic partnerships with major German supermarket chains. Your primary mission will be to leverage your existing network and resources to establish solid collaborations with industry giants like REWE, Aldi, Lidl, and successfully integrate our PV products into their sales networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development & Execution:
Develop and execute sales strategies and market entry plans targeting the German large-scale retail channel. - Key Account Management:
Proactively identify, engage, and manage partnerships with the aforementioned key large-scale retailers, acting as their main point of contact. - Channel Expansion:
Utilize your existing resources and network to successfully open new partnership channels and achieve sales targets. - Negotiation & Contracting:
Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive partnership terms and contracts. - Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term, solid relationships with key decision-makers to ensure ongoing and deepening collaboration. - Market Intelligence:
Gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to inform company product and strategy adjustments. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale to delivery.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Essential Experience:
Proven track record in successfully developing channels or managing key account sales within the
German large-scale supermarket sector (must include, but not limited to, REWE, Aldi, Lidl)
. - Resource Network:
Established, directly accessible network of key decision-makers within these channels. - Key Account Skills:
3+ years of experience in Key Account management or complex sales cycle management, with exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills. - Language Skills: German at native or business-fluency level
(working language). Good command of English is also required. - Personal Attributes:
Results-driven, with strong self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously, thriving in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience selling PV, energy, home appliances, consumer electronics, or related B2C products through retail channels.
- Deep understanding of the German energy market and sustainability trends.
