Senior Sustainability Communications Specialist for a global B2B sustainability SaaS

Manage and execute global business content & communications, primarily targeting the advanced construction products industry — from product announcements, to press releases, to annual global reports, to online mega-events, to annual global awards, and more. Lead your work within the Global Brand team for a fast-growing, profitable global sustainability SaaS decarbonizing the construction industry value chain, which collectively contributes to nearly half of all the world's carbon emissions. 

This is an 18-month fixed-term maternity leave cover contract. 

You are a great fit if: You are a positive, energetic senior B2B SaaS content & communications professional with 8+ years of experience successfully planning and executing high-quality, intellectually-rigorous work. (If you have an interest in technical or regulatory topics, with a background in law or high-authority journalism, this is a huge plus) You are driven to contribute to ambitious net-zero targets and business growth goals. You have finesse in aligning with cross-functional stakeholders, as this role involves good collaboration across Product Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Regional Marketing, Enterprise Sales, and Growth teams to meet and exceed commercial targets across industries (with a focus on construction products).

What the day-to-day is like: You will report directly to One Click LCA's Global Brand Manager and join a supportive, effective, intellectual, and mission-oriented team in a flexible, friendly work environment. You will enjoy a great deal of autonomy and ownership in your role. It will be your responsibility to grow brand awareness, increase brand engagement, and generate high-quality business leads. Your role is to work alongside the team for the best results — while taking full ownership of your content & communications roadmap, aligned with business needs. This can include press releases, annual reports, technical content, software product communications, well-researched guides and articles about regulatory topics, hosting & promoting webinars and online events, commissioning videos, providing training, writing global newsletters, contributing to the social media calendar, creating landing pages or product pages, leading product announcements, commissioning high-quality visual assets, including complex infographics, and more.

This full-time, 18-month maternity leave cover position is available on a remote basis for candidates based in European time zones.

What you will do:
  • Develop and execute content and communications campaigns that align with One Click LCA's overall brand and marketing strategy
  • Ideate, research, write (or commission writing), edit, vet, publish, package, and promote long-form and short-form content — including articles, research reports, case studies, infographics, product landing pages, marketing emails, social media, ads, video scripts, presentations, webinars, internal communications, press releases, product announcements, online events, and more — you must also be comfortable writing for highly educated audiences, including PhDs of science or engineering
  • Work with product, partner, business development, consulting, brand, regional, and growth teams to launch or promote products, features, and integrations
  • Ensure SEO (and AI optimization) based on keyword research and best practices utilized to make our high-quality research content discoverable online and in evolving AI search
  • Track and analyze the results of all your marketing output in order to understand its outcomes — to iterate, improve upon, and increase your impact
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices — and lean into new AI-driven tools
  • Stay abreast of global and regional construction sustainability competitors, requirements, regulations, and trends in order to identify relevant opportunities
What you need:
  • You bring 8+ years of B2B marketing and communications experience, with a proven ability to produce high-impact content across digital formats — and you're always looking to learn, improve, and deliver meaningful results.
  • You're energized by working independently and collaboratively — managing your own projects with focus and accountability, while contributing to a caring, ambitious team culture.
  • You have a strong command of English and write with clarity, purpose, and voice — from technical content to customer-facing messaging — always on-brand and audience-aware.
  • You're thoughtful and data-driven in your approach — testing, measuring, and learning from every campaign or piece of content you deliver.
  • You're passionate about making a positive impact — with an interest in sustainability, a curiosity about the construction sector, and a readiness to grow your expertise in the field.
