Junior Project Manager

Role Description:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, working with senior project managers and stakeholders.
• Help develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate project teams and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Track and monitor project progress, providing regular status updates to senior managers and stakeholders.
• Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items.
• Communicate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in managing project budgets, ensuring that resources and expenses align with the project scope.
• Help identify potential risks, delays, or issues and work with senior managers to develop solutions.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including schedules, reports, and meeting notes.
• Support the project close-out process, including evaluations and post-project reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination across all project activities.
• Assist with any administrative tasks related to project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or a related role (internships and entry-level positions welcome).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Preferred (but not required):

• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, , Basecamp).
• Basic knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM) is a plus.
