General Ledger Accountant (all genders)
Your future tasks:

• Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• Independent management and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Analysis and commentary on balance sheet and income statement items
• Clarification of issues, including in the area of intercompany transactions, and preparation of appropriate documentation for internal and external purposes
• Support in preparatory measures for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements
• Coordination of relevant reporting issues with controlling colleagues
• Participation in the optimisation of processes and the continuous improvement of the internal control system
• Technical support and guidance for younger colleagues in the accounting team
• Contact person for auditors, tax advisors and internal departments

Your profile:

• Completed degree in business administration or commercial training with relevant further education
• Ideally, successfully passed accounting exam, but not a must
• Approximately 10 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an international environment, ideally with experience in the wind industry or with construction projects
• Confidence in closing accounts in accordance with HGB and IFRS and solid basic knowledge of taxation
• Very good SAP knowledge at user level, preferably in S/4HANA
• Analytical thinking, structured working style and a high sense of responsibility
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and sharing your knowledge with the team
• Good English skills
