Your Responsibilities

  • Functional and disciplinary leadership of the Controlling team with a focus on investment controlling (CAPEX)
  • Responsibility for planning, budgeting, managing, and monitoring long-term investments in fixed assets (machinery, buildings, infrastructure)
  • Development and continuous improvement of a meaningful KPI and reporting system for investments (e.g. investment, profitability, and cash flow analyses)
  • Preparation of investment and profitability calculations (e.g. NPV, payback period) as well as post-project evaluations
  • Execution of target/actual comparisons, variance analyses, and initiation of corrective or steering measures
  • Close collaboration with the technical/production departments, facility management, finance, and executive management
  • Management and supervision of investment processes: project approvals, budget tracking, and liquidity planning within the investment area
  • Participation in annual investment programs and medium-term investment planning
  • Development and implementation of controlling tools, models, and processes to increase transparency and optimize capital expenditures

Your Profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Controlling, preferably with a focus on investment / fixed asset / CAPEX controlling
  • Proven leadership experience combined with strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent knowledge of investment and profitability analysis methods
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration with technical, investment, and finance departments
  • High level of adaptability, structured working style, and a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Excellent German and good English skills are an advantage
