About the job:

There is a lot to learn on the journey. So being open to adapt to new challenges and having flexibility is a key characteristic required in the job. Everyone knows there is no "I" in TEAM; therefore, you must be built to work alongside colleagues with clear and direct communication skills. The team language is German, hence fluency is a must, together with fluent English skills (verbal & written). If you also have some knowledge of Spanish, even better

The location of work is located in the German finance hub, Frankfurt am Main. This is a fully on-site role, requiring presence in the office to collaborate closely with colleagues and clients.

If that resembles you, the basics fit our ambitious goal to be a top provider of structured solutions cross-asset in the Retail and Institutional space. 

Key tasks would consist of, but are not limited to:

  • develop and maintain client relationships: regular calls and cold calls are expected.

  • providing ideas to solve clients' hedging or investment needs.

  • taking ownership and helping distribute structured solutions cross-assets (Note, OTC, SPV, Warrant).

  • support the team with daily, regular routines.

  • thinking outside the box, to break daily, regular routines and optimize the workflow process.

  • handling internal meetings and taking ownership of projects.

  • representing BBVA and the team publicly in the best manner.

  • Coordinate other clients' requests with the different teams at BBVA in Madrid: Trading, Structuring, Research, EMTN, Legal, Middle Office and Back Office

  • Interact with clients by phone/chat and organise visits together with different Global Markets units

  • Ideally Banking background, with a deep understanding of financial products and markets.

  • IT knowledge. Excel, VBA, and programming would be much valued.
