We currently employ around 230 people at our site in Mainz-Hechtsheim. Founded in 1994 as DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH, the company quickly established itself as a major manufacturer of high-power diode lasers. At its two locations in Mainz and Freiburg, DILAS develops and produces high-power diode laser components and systems with a wide range of power levels and wavelengths. DILAS has been part of the Coherent Group since November 2016.
We are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) for our research and development department to start as soon as possible.
Job Description
- Planning, management, and successful implementation of research and development projects
- Coordination of interdisciplinary teams
- Ensuring that project results are achieved on time and within budget in accordance with the company's technological objectives
Your Profile
- Completed technical degree, preferably electrical engineering
- Experience in project management in R&D
- In-depth knowledge of scientific and technical methods (e.g., experimental design, data analysis, prototyping, etc.)
- Confident use of project management methods
- Knowledge of budget planning, project controlling, and subsidy management
- Good planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Strong communication and moderation skills
- Conflict management and stakeholder orientation
- High analytical skills and problem-solving competence
- Proactive, structured, and independent way of working
