Freelance Construction Site Manager – Utility-Scale PV Project (Germany)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for the PV plant and related infrastructure
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution
• Oversee site safety, compliance, and adherence to environmental and technical standards
• Monitor progress, budget, and reporting to the project management team
• Interface with the client and engineering teams on technical and scheduling matters

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site management for utility-scale PV or renewable energy projects
• Knowledge of MV/HV systems and substation construction is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English & German
• Self-employed / able to work under a freelance contract within the EU

Future Opportunities

An extension is possible depending on the successful development of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and an additional PV project adjacent to the current site.
