Are you ready to take ownership of the Dutch market and turn demos into new customers? Do you love running product demos, handling objections, and convincing SMB customers of a solution that truly makes their lives easier? At HERO Software, we're on a mission to digitize the trades sector with software that empowers installers, builders, and craftsmen.
We're looking for an energetic Account Executive to join our international team in Berlin. If you want to be part of HERO's growth journey, close deals, and help onboard our very first Dutch customers — this role is for you
Your MissionPipeline Development: Collaborate with our SDRs and marketing team to qualify high-quality inbound and outbound leads with consistent, strategic follow-up
Demo Excellence: Deliver tailored online demos that directly address customer pain points and clearly demonstrate HERO's value proposition
- Deal Closure: Guide prospects through the entire sales cycle from initial demo to signed contract and ensure smooth handovers to our Customer Success team
- Market Expansion: Play a key role in establishing HERO as the leading solution in the Netherlands market
- Cross-Functional Support: Contribute to translations, marketing campaigns, and trade fairs as we build our Dutch market presence together
- Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with Dutch craftspeople who become long-term partners
Your Superpowers
- Language Expertise: Native-level Dutch plus strong English (C1+) for seamless communication across markets
- Proven Sales Experience: 2–4 years of successful experience in SaaS sales or similar digital environments
- Presentation Skills: Confident demo delivery and presentation abilities that convert prospects into customers
- Strategic Persistence: Structured approach to follow-ups with the drive to consistently move deals forward
- Location Flexibility: Berlin-based with willingness to travel to the Netherlands for trade fairs and customer meetings
- Bonus Qualifications: Knowledge of Dutch trades/craftsman sector, German language skills, fast-cycle SMB sales experience, or proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Resilient: You view challenges as opportunities and maintain momentum through the sales cycle
- Energetic: You bring genuine enthusiasm and positive energy to every customer interaction
- Relationship-Focused: Natural communicator who builds trust, understands customer needs, and closes with confidence
