Your Mission:

As a Working Student in Business Development at enmacc, you will play a key role in driving our market expansion and supporting our growth strategy. You will act as a bridge between market intelligence and active sales efforts, helping us identify new business opportunities while ensuring our team has the data insights needed to succeed. This role is an ideal opportunity to gain operational experience in the energy trading industry, moving beyond just analysis to real business impact.

Your Responsibilities / What you'll do:

You will take ownership of continuous projects and actively support the team in growing our network. Your responsibilities will include:

• Market Data Management:
  You will help us professionalize our data by building a unified model for external market figures, turning complex numbers into clear reports for internal decision-making.
• Market Research:
  You will conduct general market research to identify emerging trends and business opportunities. You will also curate industry news to provide the company with up-to-date knowledge and the sales team with relevant points to address with clients.
• Prospecting in Growth Segments:
  You will support the sales team by researching potential clients, building targeted contact lists, and identifying key stakeholders to contact to help us expand into new growth segments.
• Continuous Projects:
  You will be assigned specific, continuous topics to own, ensuring you can dive deep into a subject rather than just handling ad-hoc tasks.

Your profile / What you'll need:

• Education:
  Currently enrolled at a German University in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Engineering Management, or another quantitative field.
• Analytical Skills:
  You are comfortable working with numbers and complex data sets to turn raw data into clear, actionable business insights.
  Experience automating tasks and workflows using AI is a strong plus.
• Commercial Mindset:
  You are proactive, persistent, and eager to understand how sales processes work. You enjoy the "hunt" for new contacts and opportunities.
• Motivation:
  You are an autonomous self-starter with a high motivation to learn about the energy trading industry. Prior experience in energy is a plus, but curiosity and drive are most important.
• Tools:
  Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets is required. Experience with R or Python for data analysis is a strong plus.
• Communication:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German skills are a strong plus.
• Availability:
  Able to work in our Munich office at least 2 days per week.
