Job Description
Job Title: Sales & Market Analyst – Renewable Energy & Battery Storage Solutions
Location: Monheim, Germany (office presence required initially; field travel expected for sales)
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious professional to join a fast-growing renewable energy and battery storage solutions company. The company focuses on providing industrial customers and mid-sized enterprises (Mittelstand) with market access, pricing optimization, and storage solutions for renewable energy systems. You will play a key role in supporting sales processes, customer engagement, and data-driven market operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with energy producers and industrial clients to provide market intelligence and optimized pricing solutions.
Support and drive the buy low / sell high strategy, leveraging economic and business analysis.
Manage data analysis related to energy markets, storage, and portfolio optimization.
Participate in sales enablement, CRM processes, and contract management.
Contribute to the deployment, optimization, and servicing of battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Collaborate with internal teams to support customer-focused solutions, investment strategies, and operational risk management.
Requirements & Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years experience in energy markets, electricity trading, or renewable energy solutions.
Prior customer-facing experience is highly valued; back-office experience with sector knowledge is also acceptable.
Strong understanding of energy market dynamics, including the energy exchange and real-time electricity consumption.
Experience in battery storage solutions, renewable energy, or related technical expertise is a strong advantage.
Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
Team player who can integrate quickly with the office team and contribute to collaborative projects.
Compensation:
Moderate base salary with high-performance bonus potential.
For junior profiles: ~€40–45k base + similar bonus potential.
For experienced candidates: €60–70k base + performance-based bonus (uncapped).
Bonus is linked to performance and client value creation; motivation should be driven by results rather than base salary alone.
