About the Role

Are you a strategic marketing leader with a passion for global growth? AtriCure is seeking a Director of Marketing to drive our commercial and go-to-market strategy across all markets in EMEA. This is a high-impact role where you'll collaborate cross-functionally and lead a dynamic international marketing team to shape the future of cardiac care worldwide.

This role requires close collaboration with Sales/Commercial teams, Professional Education, and EMEA Leadership to ensure alignment of strategy, execution, and customer engagement across diverse markets.

Location:
Based in Germany, Netherlands, or the UK, with easy access to an international airport or major train station to support frequent travel

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute international business plans and market access strategies
  • Lead and grow the EMEA Marketing team (Amsterdam-based and field resources)
  • Identify and prioritize market growth opportunities through segmentation and analysis
  • Partner with Health Economics and R&D to support product launches and market feedback
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to shape product messaging, positioning, and education
  • Drive competitive analysis and create compelling marketing assets and presentations
  • Champion digital marketing capabilities and stakeholder engagement programs
  • Support distributor partnerships, onboarding, and ongoing marketing enablement
  • Manage international tradeshows and ensure brand alignment globally
  • Align closely with the Education team to support training and outreach initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or International Business Management
  • 5+ years of successful sales/marketing experience in the medical device industry
  • Proven leadership in managing and developing marketing teams
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and presentation capabilities
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%)
