Company Description

Pasargad Alloy Steel Complex (P.J.S.) is a 100% privately owned company dedicated to producing high-quality steel products that meet international standards. Established in April 2009, the plant includes a state-of-the-art melt-shop with a capacity of 1.5 million tons per year. Our equipment ensures efficiency, minimal energy consumption, and environmental friendliness. The plant, located 70 kilometers south of Shiraz in Fars Province, Iran, spans 300 hectares. Future phases include pelletizing, DRI plants, and rolling mills starting in the second half of 2012.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Düsseldorf for a Technical Office/Smelting Furnace Control Room Expert. The expert will oversee the day-to-day operations of the smelting furnace control room, ensuring optimal performance, and managing technical office tasks. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, maintaining production processes, addressing technical issues, and coordinating with the engineering and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with the operation and control of smelting furnaces and related equipment
  • Strong technical office skills, including documentation, data analysis, and reporting
  • Knowledge of EAF, LF, and CCM production processes and equipment
  • Capability in troubleshooting and problem-solving within a high-stakes manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively on-site in Düsseldorf
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with environmental and safety standards in steel production is a plus
