Join the Infrastructure Debt team at Prime Capital AG and become part of a young and dynamic group focused on one of the fastest-growing asset classes of the last decade: Private Debt. We are looking for a motivated individual to help us originate, structure, analyse, and implement high-quality investment opportunities for our Infrastructure Debt Strategies.

In this role, you will support both the investment management and portfolio management teams, gaining deep insights into the Private Debt business with a particular focus on Infrastructure Debt. Our team manages the entire value chain of debt investments, from origination to closing, and continues with ongoing transaction monitoring. We primarily focus on project and structured finance for infrastructure projects, providing you with exposure to various transactions and sponsors, while also involving you in meetings and calls with sponsors and advisors, thereby enhancing your professional experience and expanding your network.

Key Responsibilities:
We offer a full-time internship in the Infrastructure Debt team based in the heart of Frankfurt for a minimum duration of 6 months. Your tasks inlcude:

• Supporting the investment team in originating and analysing new debt investment opportunities
• Analyse and build excel-based financial models, including cash flow and sensitivity analysis
• Preparing transaction related presentations and pitch materials for internal and external use, as well as investment memos for the investment committee
• Participate in meetings and calls with sponsors and advisors
• Support the portfolio management team in the monitoring of existing portfolio investments as well as reporting obligations for funds and investors
• Creating research materials on current relevant market developments
• Support the team's business development and fund raising effort

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong motivation to kick-start their career as a principal investor in the fast-growing Private Debt space.
• Availability for at least 6 months and to potentially start full-time in our team right after your internship.
• Relevant experience in previous investment-related roles of at least 9 months, such as asset management, banking, M&A, or financial advisory.
• Good economic understanding and interest in asset management, project and structured finance, and capital markets. Knowledge in the field of fixed income is an advantage.
• High motivation and flexibility, with a hands-on mentality.
• Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, systematic approach.
• Willingness to become an expert in financial modeling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (modeling skills are an advantage) and PowerPoint.
• Proactive drive and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, while also showcasing strong teamwork skills.
• Completed or near completion of a finance-focused degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting (or equivalent).
• Excellent command of English is a must. Working proficiency in German and/or other European languages would be a strong asset.
